PERFECT CRUSH OR TRUE LOVE

People most times would choose crush over true love, though not be intentional. A crush usually is based on a person’s appearance or the way the person talks or walks or some particular behaviour which is admired intensely by another person.

A girl can have a crush on a cute sort-after guy or a celebrity, while her true love is an average gentleman with a moderate lifestyle. Guys tend to crush on girls who they are attracted to at first sight; some mistake it for love-at-first-sight.

A crush is admiration. It’s attraction. It’s the burning desire to be with someone you consider very attractive. But in reality, crushes don’t last long. If given the opportunity to interact and be with your crush, the feelings might not develop from just mere attraction and admiration, as most times its just infatuation.

Most times people don’t usually realise their true love until after a while, it sometimes goes through processes like friendship, because love without friendship is meaningless. Friendship and relationship go hand-in-hand, as friendship is the foundation and backbone of a relationship.

The best love is the kind that sneaks up on you softly. You think its normal friendship, but you begin to value the friendship more and more, and eventually it turns into a relationship. No fireworks or explosions, just cupid’s arrow piercing your heart.

Having a crush is a very interesting aspect in humans, especially females, it is usually filled with random thoughts and imaginations; fun dates, watching the sunset, holding hands, laughing together, cuddling, fairy tale wedding, etc.

A crush can however grow into friendship and eventually into love. Wanting to be with your crush forever is the sweetest thing and a dream come true, but love is not characterized by obsessiveness or simple attraction. Love doesn’t burn out in the same way that a crush generally will, it comes with maturity.

Love not just categorized with fun dates, fairy tale wedding and honeymoon, but being able to endure the pains and struggles, and overcome the challenges that come with love and relationship, because love is a perfect blend of pain and pleasure.

In Summary, Love is long lasting; it can keep two people together for a lifetime. Love is considered a virtue; a crush might be considered a vice, as it is a very innocent form of lust. Crush is very short-lived; it wears out. So, whether you find yourself in a crush or in love, enjoy it and go the distance.
