WE ARE THE CHANGE THAT WE SEEK

Whenever things go wrong we are quick to point fingers at the persons in authority. I am yet to see a man or woman who is flawless. We are all imperfect; we make mistakes and wrong decisions at some point in our lives. So rather than being quick to judge whoever may be on the hot seat, why don’t we encourage them bearing in mind they are humans like us and are prone to flaws.

Gone are the days when we use to have ‘times table’ or ‘basic mathematical formulas’ at the back of our exercise books for children to memorize, these days what we have are pictures of football clubs (Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal etc) and famous players (Drogba, Mikel, Messi, Ronaldo). Who is to blame, the government I presume, they run the printing press? We have ourselves to blame and until we first admit it, we might find it difficult to move forward.

All hands need to be on deck, everyone has to play his or her part no matter how little. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love” - Mother Teresa
Progress is a process, change doesn't happen overnight. Change will only prevail as a combined effort of faith, peace, love, charity and patience
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” - Barack Obama

What difference or impact have you made in the society today? Ask what you can do for your immediate community/state/country and not what your community/state/country can do for you.
