WHEN LOOKING BACK IS NECESSARY

A lot of times, we have been in situations where we were clueless as to what to do next. We behave uniquely in times like this, and this is due to our orientation, or as a hippy guy would say “OT”.
Most people would panic, others would freeze, and a few others might act out of proportion only to regret afterwards.

There is a school of thought that says,“If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl but just keep moving.”
I am in no way saying that this idea is bad, but it is definitely overused.
I call it overused because I want to believe that sometimes we should look back at what we have done in the past and assess it in order to know if there are aspects of our lives that need fine-tuning.

They say a stitch in time saves nine, and in the same light, a little time spent to go down memory lane would remedy mistakes that would have been catastrophic.
I would love to share a little idea:
“A little pause could be progress.”
“Forward ever isn’t always right.”
“The farther back you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” – Winston Churchill

So therefore, with regrets, achievements, unmade choices or even when everything is working fine, we should take a few moments sometimes to look down memory lane, to go back even for a while because looking back is necessary.
