Someone once said Racism is when a white coloured blackberry phone is more expensive than a similar black coloured version of the same blackberry phone. Same is noticeable with Apple Products, though there is no difference in the overall functionality. Well I think it’s a deliberate action by retailers to exploit the ignorance of people.
RIM producers of blackberry, does not distinguish price of Blackberry phones based on the colour of the phone. To hold a white electronic accessory has become very fashionable and manufacturers in a bid to please their customers now create white version of their devices (smart phones, tablets, etc). White versions run out quicker and so it becomes pricier. Its simple law of demand and supply, as demand increases, the price go up. So I wouldn’t call it racism. But He who refuses to classify Agege bread and Akara as a type of Sandwich is definitely a Racist.
