DESPERATION, THE EVIL WIND

There are some people who have their lives all planned out such that nothing really worries them. Some other people are lucky to be born into families that have planned their lives for them.
But most people have not been as lucky, as they have worked for everything they now have. These people have the tendency to get desperate at times when all hope seems to be lost. They tend to develop into this state, because they perhaps don’t see solution coming in from anywhere else asides the buttons they claim to push. These buttons could be those of desperation.

What really is desperation?
Desperation is a state in which all hope seems to be lost.

How often do we need things desperately?
Is desperation a habit?
Do we even weigh the thing that make us desperate?

These are questions that are easier asked than answered, because different people have different views.
Some people even claim that desperation is a fire that propels the bearer to success. If I wasn't already a fan of anti-desperation, perhaps I could have shared that school of thought.
One thing I am very confident about though is the fact that desperate people seldom win. They get naive and become vulnerable.

In desperation, people lose the one control they should have- THEIR MIND.
They sometimes get greedy and lose everything.
Desperation makes people to go the extra mile to do whatever it will take them to get what they want. Most times, these things are just plain vanity and not worth much.

"I have come to understand that desperation is a sickness that doesn't give symptoms. The bearer refuses to admit it until it has caused its ruin"

A lot of times, we need people to snap us out of our desperation, but dependence on people like this could be fatal as they may not be readily available. Should the unavailability of these people lead to the detrimental languish or the expected anguish?  Of course not!

We should always have the consciousness to understand that desperation seeps in through the slightest leakage of our unconscious emotions, and we should be able to realize that it doesn't solve anything. It is an evil wind that blows not the bearer any good.

How to know when you are desperate.

Any feeling that tells you that an expected outcome is a 100 percent win is false, because nothing is totally guaranteed.
There is nothing wrong in being hopeful by the way, but taking your hopefulness to the level where you go “ALL IN” could be desperation, in other words, disastrous. It is okay to FOLD as a game of poker would teach.

"Always remember that desperate people are hanging on a weak thread, its break point is definitely close at hand. The only guarantee that desperate people have is their vulnerability which is 100 percent."
