NIGERIA MY COUNTRY

I look up to seeing a country where corruption is myth and our leaders inspired by patriotism; actuated by love of one's country; zealously and selfishly devoted to the service of one's country; as a patriotic statesman, vigilance; people with keen interest in building a nation strong and catering for everyone in it.
I see leaders rising up to the challenge confronting the Nigerian State and stop gambling with the lives of the innocent.

Where terrorism & violence would be a thing of the past, with news of an Hausa man saving an Igbo child from fire and an Ijaw man sheltering them fills the screens and not screams of protests, anguish and pain.
I see our educational and health system being sought after from all around the globe, we will no longer travel on potholes filled death traps but good roads that lead safely to our destination.

I see a country where youths come up with outstanding innovation, put their time & energy to good use, a country where it will be odd not to stand for what is right and one where we feel safe and secure in our neighbourhood. Not having fear of the un- known.
This is my cry, this is my dream.
